Description
The problem with audiophile furniture built for high end audio is, more often than not, albeit technically efficient, often sterile and uninspiring in design. The Charlie audiophile media console seeks to remedy this issue and is designed with both audio quality and aesthetic pleasure in mind. Good sound is about sensitivity and so is design.
If you are passionate about getting the most out of your quality turntable, consider isolating it from the rest of your audio equipment. The turntable is isolated from the rest of the cabinet with the help of anti vibration feet from Iso acoustics. These feet are concealed by the front grilles which not only set off the design but also allow heat to escape from more power hungry pieces of equipment below.
To create a more rigid and vibration dampening cabinet, the shelves are fixed in place although adjustable shelves on anti shock shelf pins are also an option.
Cable management is taken care of internally via slots in the shelves and externally with access through the back panels.
The console is joined with handcut dovetails and also featured is a Walnut inlay on the front edge, just to remind the owner this piece is made by hand.
If you are interested in other options for your technical hifi setup, the Kosta and Munro cabinets are other great options for the record enthusiast.
