Description

Barn doors often look factory-made or too rustic for contemporary homes. This door features contemporary shiplap and countless through wedged tenons (352 walnut wedges in this example). Each tenon is set by hand, with wedges hammered in and glued for a strong, unmistakably handmade joint.

The natural variation and character of the locally sourced Blackwood is really well presented in a piece of this size and repititive detailing.

Sold with or without hardware, depending on customer preference.
