Description
Solid, stoic and reverent, the Monastery dining table is designed for a home with enough architectural presence for the piece to answer back.
That might be a panoramic view, high ceilings, a generous open plan space, or a room with a natural sense of grandeur.
Its weight is intentional. The table is designed to ground larger spaces, bringing warmth, stillness and a sense of permanence to the room.
Available as a first commission
The Monastery table is shown here as a rendered design study. The design is ready for its first build, and the first client to commission it will receive the original handmade example of this piece. It will be made and refined specifically for its home, with the timber selection, final proportions and finish considered through the making process.
