Description
As far as NZ made dining room tables go, the Carran is something special. Sitting apart from the generic offerings of big chain stores, this table is undeniably unique.
Despite being one of its own, this table sits happily amongst other, Scandinavian and mid-century styled furniture, with its smooth curves and gentle contours.
This X frame rail design is inspired by my mentor, Evan Dunstone, from Dunstone Design, who was in turn inspired and taught by David Maclaren from the Bungendore Woodworks Gallery. The craft of woodworking is constantly evolving and I’m forever grateful to the leaders in the craft that have paved the way for younger makers.
