Description

The Elara, younger sister to the Tizard design. Its softer ovaloid sections give the table a warmer, more convivial presence, while the leg junctions carry the same care and precision as its older brother, creating a crisp, quietly resolved detail.

The dark end grain of the legs contrasts beautifully with the long grain of the table top.

This table is as functional as it is pleasing aesthetically. By placing the legs at the corners of the top, there is minimal interference with both chair and diners’ legs.⁠ This dining table is complemented nicely by the handcrafted Elaine bench.⁠

Available as a first commission
The Elara table is shown here as a rendered design study. The design is ready for its first build, and the first client to commission it will receive the original handmade example of this piece. It will be made and refined specifically for its home, with the timber selection, final proportions and finish considered through the making process.
