Description
The Jasper dining table draws from the long lineage of trestle and refectory tables, forms that have gathered people together for centuries. The Jasper table embodies and references this lineage all the while being adorned with clean, contemporary lines.
Whilst being inspired by the ancient tables of Europe, there is also a hint of Japanese influence that shines through in the clean lines and and uncomplicated tapers of the Jasper.
The design, with legs set back from the table’s edge, complements booth seating or cozy dining areas perfectly. In our modestly sized dining space, with a bench seat against a wall, the Jasper dining table is our choice to meet the family’s needs.
The hallmark of these Jasper handmade wood tables is simple, neat, honest joinery. The large horizontal through tenon beneath the tabletop is both structural and expressive.
Jasper is a table for daily use, but also one with a deeper memory.
